Longevity for Skin, The Body, and Within.
22nd March -Move • Learn • Nourish • Mingle-
The first edition of Stretch & Skin honours International Women’s Day on the 1st of March: an afternoon of informative movement, skin health and connection, created for women who want to care for themselves with intention. The afternoon will be hosted by Maxine from Barre Max and Dr Henrietta Cook MBBS MRCGP is a dual-trained GP and aesthetic skin doctor. She is the founder of Avena Clinic, where she specialises in subtle, regenerative and wellness-aligned aesthetic treatments.
We’ll begin with an informative Barre Class led by Maxine, designed to strengthen, and lengthen the muscles whilst teaching you about movements that support your pelvic floor health. Maxine is a trained Pelvic Floor Movement Coach, as well as an experienced Barre, Yoga and Breath work instructor. Her style focuses on teaching to avoid injury and support previous niggles and pains making movement is accessible to everyone.
This will be followed by a guided skin conversation with Dr Hen, exploring what truly supports collagen, skin quality and graceful ageing.
We’ll finish with healthy, nourishing refreshments and time to connect, ask questions and unwind together.
Our goal is for you to understand your body and skin more clearly, and learn how to care for yourself in an integrative way..
